Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) on multi-state routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient loading/unloading at distribution centers
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Document all delivery paperwork and maintain vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer ladders
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Experience with refrigerated freight preferred
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
