Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van/refrigerated) on multi-state routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT-compliant logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling protocols
- Deliver shipments to Ohio and Texas destinations on strict schedules
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb trailer decks
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Texas/Ohio highway systems
- Strong time management and customer service skills
