Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and reefers) for local/regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of freight with warehouse personnel
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Basic knowledge of Jacksonville metro area and Florida highways
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to start shifts as early as 4 AM
