Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe and efficient manner during night shifts.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and Hours of Service (HOS) logs.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring no damage occurs during transport.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Keep the truck clean and well-maintained at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with GPS and ELD technology is preferred.
