Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods between warehouses and delivery sites
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems for weekend deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Handle loading/unloading with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route updates
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards at all times
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of Bay Area roads and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
