Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes throughout Southern California
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with precision and care using appropriate equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage time efficiently to meet tight delivery schedules
- Complete necessary paperwork including delivery receipts and fuel logs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with LA metro area
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including early mornings
