Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) following DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries while optimizing fuel usage
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must be 23+ years old with no DUI/DWI convictions in past 5 years
