Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A/B) to transport goods within Philadelphia metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records using ELD systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimized route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist in freight handling and secure cargo according to DOT standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and ELD technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia traffic patterns and local routes
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun) with occasional holiday shifts
