Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods between Charlotte distribution centers and regional facilities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system records
- Adapt routes for traffic/weather conditions to guarantee on-time weekend deliveries
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient load planning and timely communication
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and company safety protocols
- Represent the company professionally in client interactions and at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with Charlotte metro area and regional highway systems
- DOT medical certification and Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts, 6 AM - 6 PM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
