Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van, flatbed, refrigerated) within local/regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient load scheduling
- Verify cargo documentation and ensure secure loading/unloading
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Charlotte metro area and surrounding regions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
