Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional routes within NC/SC/TN/GA
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous trip documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Optimize delivery schedules while prioritizing on-time performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Represent PrimeLine with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical loading tasks
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and navigation systems
- Ability to work flexible schedules including overnight trips
- Pass criminal background and drug screening
