Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight across Massachusetts
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timing
- Verify load documentation and ensure secure cargo handling
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Boston metro area and New England roads
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends as needed
