Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight between Baltimore and regional distribution centers
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system records
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and meet delivery deadlines
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-controlled and hazardous materials when required
- Represent our company professionally through exceptional customer service at client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore metro area and Mid-Atlantic highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Clean background check and no major moving violations in past 3 years
