Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) over regional routes
- Pre-trip inspections and proper vehicle maintenance documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and HOS guidelines
- Load/unload cargo with precision using appropriate equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Collaborate with dispatch for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for overnight trips (1-2 nights per week)
