Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logbooks
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure roadworthiness
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization
- Handle hazardous materials (HAZMAT) endorsements preferred
- Deliver freight to diverse locations including ports and distribution centers
- Maintain professional communication with clients and team members
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California roadways and port operations
- HAZMAT certification highly desirable
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for irregular schedules and overnight stays
