Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 trucks for local/regional routes throughout South Florida
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize electronic logging systems (ELD) for compliance tracking
- Participate in quarterly safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Miami-Dade County roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Basic navigation skills and proficiency with mobile dispatch apps
- Strong time management and communication abilities
- No preventable accidents in past 3 years
