Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van reefers) with strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation while meeting strict delivery deadlines
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Represent our company with exceptional customer service at every stop
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (company-paid)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of Texas roadways and weather conditions
- Experience with electronic logging devices and route optimization
- Flexible schedule including early mornings and occasional overnight trips
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
