Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations within schedule.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any issues or defects.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and forklifts.
- Maintain accurate records via Electronic Logging Device (ELD) and logbooks.
- Interact professionally with customers and shippers/receivers at delivery points.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
