Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles delivering goods across Michigan and Midwest
- Execute pre/post-trip inspections and maintain FMCSA compliance logs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time load adjustments
- Secure and document cargo according to DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Maintain clean driving record with zero preventable incidents
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no DUIs, reckless driving, or major violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and climb trailer ladders
- Proficient with ELD systems and digital logbooks
- Knowledge of Michigan winter driving protocols
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
