Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet tight delivery windows
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Represent Golden State Logistics with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of San Francisco Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including early mornings
