Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently within local routes (Ohio & PA border).
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT standards.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and material handling equipment.
- Ensure accurate delivery of goods to customers while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Required).
- Current DOT medical card and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends or holidays if necessary.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic laws.
- Basic computer literacy for logging purposes.
