Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) during overnight hours
- Transport freight between Virginia distribution centers and regional hubs
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient route planning
- Secure and unload cargo at delivery locations
- Report maintenance issues and document delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Virginia highway systems
- Strong attention to safety and compliance
- Physical ability to handle freight up to 70 lbs
