Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for nighttime freight deliveries
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Secure cargo and handle hazardous materials (when certified)
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years recent tractor-trailer experience
- Night shift availability (8 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Dallas metroplex highways and routes
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Hazmat certification (or willingness to obtain)
