Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods on time and accurately.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Navigate Detroit traffic efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle interior and exterior.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle paperwork with precision.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate and DOT physical card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUI or serious moving violations.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
