Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B CDL required) on designated routes throughout Columbus and surrounding areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring proper handling of all cargo types.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during stop deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with required endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
- Must possess a clean driving record and pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
