Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for nighttime deliveries across Milwaukee and Texas routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary fleet management system
- Inspect and report vehicle maintenance issues to ensure DOT compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and route adjustments
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and resolve delivery challenges
- Adhere to all safety protocols including HAZMAT handling when applicable
- Assist in loading/unloading shipments with proper equipment usage
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong knowledge of Milwaukee metro area and Texas highway systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging and communication
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
