Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for nighttime deliveries
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Adapt to dynamic routes and time-sensitive delivery windows
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Uphold company safety standards and DOT regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (California)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Knowledge of Sacramento metro area and surrounding routes
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
