Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for overnight freight delivery across Ohio
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Load/unload freight with precision and care using advanced equipment
- Navigate diverse routes using GPS technology in all weather conditions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients for real-time updates
- Maintain clean driving record and represent our brand professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Ohio roadways and regulations
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible overnight schedules (8-10 hour shifts)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting capabilities
