Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided freight trucks for regional routes across Nevada and California
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and weight regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and ensure on-time performance
- Comply with DOT regulations, HOS requirements, and company safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve shipment issues
- Document and report any mechanical concerns or road hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and reporting systems
