Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight delivery
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with precision and care using forklift certification
- Optimize routes to ensure timely delivery across Kansas and surrounding states
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication
- Report maintenance issues and contribute to vehicle upkeep
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Regional knowledge of Kansas/Oklahoma highways
