Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques to ensure cargo integrity.
- Complete all required daily and weekly vehicle inspections (DVIR) accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records to ensure DOT compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Keep the truck cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements (e.g., Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
