Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe, legal, and efficient manner at all times.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper securing and documentation.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (DVIR) and adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and support staff regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Manage cargo documentation and delivery paperwork accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, road conditions, and safety protocols.
- Willingness to travel and operate in both Ohio and Virginia.
