Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems (ELD)
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance issues
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading as required (no-touch freight available)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- 2+ years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must reside within 50 miles of Nashville, TN
