Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across regional routes (primarily TN, MS, AR)
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs (e-Logs)
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling throughout transit
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Operate advanced GPS and telematics systems
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of regional geography and regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning starts (4 AM shifts available)
- No preventable accidents in the last 3 years
