Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, legal, and efficient manner to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and securing procedures.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and ensure strict compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any route changes.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and DOT regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Current, valid DOT medical card and DOT physical.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations or DUIs within the last 7 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and comprehensive background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
