Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles over long distances while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route adjustments
- Ensure on-time delivery while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain clean driving record
- Participate in ongoing training programs for skill development
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with HAZMAT regulations (preferred but not required)
- Strong knowledge of Nevada traffic laws and route planning
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must be at least 21 years old with US citizenship or legal residency
