Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for regional routes (no-touch freight)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and conduct pre/post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs (ELD compliant)
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding shipment status
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early start times and weekend shifts
- Basic understanding of electronic logging devices
