Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance with DOT regulations
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safety and operational readiness
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict schedules and optimize routes for efficiency
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment and techniques
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with HOS regulations and electronic logging devices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for irregular hours and overnight trips
