Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) across Illinois and regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate logbooks
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load delivery and pickup
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with at least 1 year experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Basic understanding of DOT regulations and Hours of Service
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules
- Must be 21+ years old and pass background check
