Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes.
- Strictly adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery records, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and customers regarding deliveries.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to the specified destinations.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of freight as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a commercial truck driver.
- Clean driving record with no major violations (e.g., DUI, reckless driving) in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading.
- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
