Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) following DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS systems for on-time deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to all safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Complete required paperwork (BOLs, manifests, etc.)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend routes
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
