Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver freight to designated locations within the region.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle readiness.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients by adhering to delivery schedules and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams regarding route changes or delays.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must possess a current DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with basic trucking terminology and navigation systems.
