Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in compliance with all traffic laws and FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement of goods.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) and drug screening clearance.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience within the last 5 years.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement procedures and road safety.
- Ability to pass a background check and MVR review.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and communication.
