Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Uphold a professional image and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Card and DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
