Job Overview:
As a CDL Driver for Sacramento Transportation Logistics, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the region. You will represent our brand with a professional attitude and ensure cargo is delivered on time and in pristine condition.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe, courteous, and professional manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Obey all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Complete daily logs (DVIR) and maintain accurate paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Must be able to pass a physical agility test.
