Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) safely and efficiently on local routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight with care, ensuring cargo security during transit.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery logs and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at delivery locations.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent driving experience in a commercial vehicle.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
