Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) on multi-state routes
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs (ELD)
- Deliver freight to distribution centers and customer locations on schedule
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and submit documentation promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for on-road repairs
- Flexibility for overnight stays and regional travel (up to 3 days)
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
