Responsibilities
- Operate Commercial Vehicles: Safely drive commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver cargo to designated locations on time.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Load & Unload: Secure cargo properly and assist with loading and unloading goods at customer sites.
- Compliance: Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) as required by law.
- Customer Service: Represent our company professionally while interacting with clients and warehouse staff.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL License: Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with the required endorsements.
- Clean Driving Record: No major traffic violations or DUIs within the past 3-5 years.
- Physical Health: Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and meet strength requirements.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred (CDL graduates considered).
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to read maps and GPS systems.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
