Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes within Kentucky and surrounding states
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and professional vehicle appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of KY roadways and weather navigation
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight trips
