Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles on highways and local roads within Los Angeles and surrounding regions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securing of goods.
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records in strict accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Must have CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or serious traffic violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
